Implementation of the UN Sustainable development agenda adopted in 2015 has taken its full pace and have included the business all over the world. Thus, being informed about the recent developments in this area and opportunities that sustainability can open for businesses is of a vital importance. Over the course of the webinar the participants will be introduced to the various aspects of ESG/Sustainability and business interrelations.

1. More specifically, Participants will be introduced to UN Sustainable Development Agenda 2030, the philosophy behind the agenda, the structure of SDG’s, their implications for private sector. The concepts of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) will be introduced as well, with the description of components within the ESG concept.
2. The role of business in advancing the sustainable development agenda will be discussed, highlighting the transition from traditional profit-maximization models to inclusive capitalism. Participants will explore how sustainability has become a source of growth opportunities and how emerging regulatory frameworks are creating increasing demand for responsible business practices.
3. A broad overview of ESG’s benefits and practical applications for businesses will be presented. This will include insights into the sustainable financing landscape, strategies for integrating ESG into business operations, and how these efforts contribute to long-term value creation through improved resilience, competitiveness, and stakeholder trust.
4. The last section of the webinar will relate to ESG reporting frameworks. The section will introduce the trending ESG reporting frameworks and standards of the world, as well as recent EU regulations and standards on sustainability.
